Caterpillar Inc. introduces the new C1.5 diesel-fueled generator set. Rated at 12 kW (15 kVA) prime and 13 kW (16.2 kVA) standby, this generator set offers superior performance and fuel economy.

The C1.5 package features a mechanical governor with an electronic governor option, Class H insulation system and an EMCP 3.1 digital controller. The circuit breaker is UL/CSA listed, with a NEMA 1 vibration isolated steel enclosure. The automatic voltage regulator provides fast recovery from transient load changes. The generator set package is skid mounted, with a heavy-duty fabricated steel base offering Zone 4 seismic vibration isolators and the base is raised for convenient forklift access. A Level 2 Silencer is standard on the C1.5 open generator set with a 10 dB(A) reduction. The optional enclosure offers sound attenuation, single point lift and a panel-viewing window.
