Passivation Of Vessels and Tanks

Passivation Of Vessels and Tanks

The Passivation of tanks and vessels has proved to be an answer to many corrosion problems. If your tank or vessel is going to be exposed to harsh chemicals or environment this may be the answer you have been looking for. Although it is not as effective as Electropolishing, it is an alternative when price is an issue to be considered. Passivation does not "smooth" the surface, in fact in some cases as the iron is removed from the surface of the material it can actually roughen the surface to a minor degree. We recommend Nitric Passivation, but Citric Acid Passivation is readily available at your request. Passivation gives your product a uniform matte appearance that is attractive as well as servicible. Quantity is not an issue at Central Electropolishing. We specialize in tanks and vessels and strive to meet the customers expectations. Central Electropolishing has an excellent record for fast turn around. We can certify your product with written certification at your request. Contact us with any questions we will be plesed to answer your questions.
