Citel MJ8-2-48DBC surge protector has been designed to protect your single 56k or DDS equipment against harmful lightning surges and electrical transients.

Citel MJ8-2-48DBC uses a heavy duty multistage design that utilizes 3-element heavy-duty surge arrester gas tubes in parallel with silicon avalanche diodes.

This hybrid technology combines a fast response time (< 1 ns) and a high power handling capability of 10kA (8/20ms waveform).

They are small, compact and feature Input/Output connections made with two female RJ45 jacks for simple plug-and-play installation.

Protects pins 1, 2, 7 & 8 on the RJ45 jack.

They are available for one or two T1 circuits.

Automatically reset after each lightning surge or electrical transient.

UL 497B approved.

Also comes with a ground lug to attach to a chassis ground and an industrial strength velcro that can be mounted right next to the equipment being protected.
