CITEL's UL Listed DLA series DIN Rail mountable surge protectors have been designed to protect your sensitive telephone, datacom and instrumentation equipment against harmful lightning surges & electrical transients.

The DLA utilize a hybrid technology that consists of a heavy duty three element gas tube & solid state diodes. This state of the art heavy-duty multistage design combines a fast response time (< 1 ns) and a high power-handling capability (20kA – 8/20 microsec waveform).

Available for applications such as telephone lines, RS485, RS422, RS232, 4-20mA loops (SCADA and RTU systems), T1/E1 (Wireless Loop equipment), DDS/56k, and all instrumentation circuits. It's perfect for industrial applications.

Thanks to its extremely low insertion loss, it won't distort the quality of the signal and is completely transparent to the line.

The DLA will increase the life expectancy of your equipment and will eliminate costly downtimes. They automatically reset after each lightning surge or electrical transient and feature a modular design that allows for quick and easy maintenance without any need for re-wiring. The DLA clip directly on to a standard 35 mm DIN Rail.

DLA install in series directly in-line with the equipment to be protected to provide the sharpest clamping.

Under the most severe conditions, the surge protector will fail short leaving your equipment fully protected.

Its small and compact design makes it ideal for applications with space limitations

Input/Output connections are made with screw terminals. Ground connection is made via a screw terminal and/or directly to the DIN Rail via the mounting clip.
