CITEL's PRC series is a DC block coaxial surge protector designed for high exposure applications based on a Quarter Wave technology. The PRC devices can be tuned to a very narrow or wide band frequencies and provide bi-directional protection. The PRC is deployed to protect your sensitive RF equipment (Wireless systems, Microwaves, Radios, Antennas, GPS and Satellite systems) against harmful lightning surges and electrical transients. They are ideal for the wireless industry.

The PRC utilize a Quarter-Wave technology that exhibits the lowest insertion loss and the best VSWR in the industry as well as a very high power-handling capability (100kA – 8/20 microsecs waveform).

Thanks to its extremely low insertion loss, it won't distort the quality of your signal. It is completely transparent to your signal line.

PRC series protectors are available in many different types of connectors such as N, TNC, and 7/16 DIN with male/female or female/female configurations.

Grounding can be done through a bulkhead mount or M6 ground screw.
Their small compact size makes them easy to install.

The PRC mount as a cable assembly or through the chassis of the equipment to be protected.

Citel RF coaxial protectors are designed to be mounted directly on the Antenna as a first line of defense and also directly behind the equipment to be protected
