Product Announcement from Clear Automation, LLC
Clear Automation designed and built two robotic systems to process filled syringes. The first system removes syringes from a feed screw at the end of the assembly and fill line. Stainless steel trays are fed into the system. The robot rotates the syringes to horizontal and places them into the tray. Each full tray is offloaded to a large rack. When the rack is full it is released from the system. The rack is transported manually to the customer's sterilization process.
After sterilization, the rack is fixtured in the second system. Trays are fed to the robot. The robot removes rows of syringes from the tray and places them onto a conveyor where they travel to downstream packaging. Empty trays are returned to the rack.
