This extended performance broadband omni-directional antenna has been designed for cellular bands 900MHz, 1450-1500MHz (L-band DAB), 1800MHz, 1900MHz and 2000MHz. It has full specification over its range of 800MHz to 2.2GHz with useful performance outside these limits.

Gain is 1.5dBi. The azimuth pattern has total ripple better than 1.5dB at any frequency. The elevation pattern is stable with frequency and always points at the horizon. The antenna does not need a ground plane as the balanced construction means that the performance will be maintained irrespective of the surface on which it is mounted.
