The easy-to-read digital display shows set point temperature for improved accuracy and repeatability. Built-in support rod mount, with thumbscrew, accommodates rods up to 13 mm in diameter. Choose corrosion-resistant ceramic for high-temperature applications or rugged aluminum for temperature uniformity.
Advanced Hot Plates and Stirring Hot Plates are designed for applications that require precise accuracy and repeatability. Separate heat and stir displays show actual and set point temperature and stir speed, allowing repeatable accurate results. Unit includes a temperature probe kit which contains a 6"L PTFE-coated stainless steel probe, 18"L support rod, and probe clamp. Timer will shut off heating, stirring, or both; and sound an audible alarm to alert user. Over-temperature protection system cuts off power to unit in overheat condition protecting both user and sample.
