Colonial Seal Co. large-diameter non-metallic seals are produced in low minimum quantites with custom sizes to fit any machine or job specification. Colonial Seal Co. supplies these seals in both split and non-split types in a variety of materials including Buna (NBR), Fabric Reinforced Duck & Rubber, Teflon ®, Viton ®, FDA apporved materials and various other thermoplastics. Large-diameter, non-metallic seals are typically larger than 12 inches in diameter. They are sometimes reinforced with fiber or fabric to add rigidity and durability to the seal while keeping the flexibility of a non-metallic material; this tends to be an effective solution for less-than-ideal shaft and bore conditions.
