Spiral wound gaskets consist of alternating metallic strips and filler material wound together. The pre-formed V or W shaped profiles create an effective seal when compressed between two flanges. The filler material can be modified to accommodate various chemical and pressure requirements and are manufactured with or without inner and outer rings. The gaskets are a cost effective replacment for Flextalic and Garlock Flexseal ® spiral wound gaskets.
