Colonial Seal Co. supplies rotary shaft seals in metal cased or fully rubber covered configurations. These standard profiles conform to DIN types A, AS, B, BS, C or CS. These general purpose seals are used in an extensive range of applications including, but not limited to bearings, electric motors, gear reducers, industial motion control equipment and a variety of pumps. The seals are available in several materials including Nitrile (NBR), Fluorocarbon (Viton®) and PTFE (Teflon®) in both standard and metric sizes.

Colonial Seal Company also supplies custom metal-cased seals that can be produced with no minimum quantities, without tooling charges, in less than a week. These large bore metal-cased seals can tolerate shaft to bore misalignment upto 2/3 mm and are avaliable with or without garter springs. The seals can be manufactured with Leather, Nitrile, Silicone, Viton or PTFE sealing elements. These custom designs are found in food & beverage, steel mills, paper and pulp plants, oil & gas industries, pharmaceutical equipment and military applications. Colonial Seal Company has full cross reference capabilities for most major seal manufacturers and specializes in replacements for obsolete or discontinued seals. The company can design a sealing solution from samples or OEM drawings and can provide prototype samples for approval prior to production.
