95T Automated Test Systems from Com-Ten Industries
The 95T Series Variable Speed Automated Test Systems combines the automation and versatility of Com-Ten's ComTouch® Total Control with the economical 95 series test stand. This variable speed test stand has up/down/stop motor control, crosshead jog, emergency stop, speed dial, and a high speed return. The Com-Ten Message Central on the test stand reports test stand direction, limit switch warnings, test stand speed, and error messages. Designed to be rugged, sturdy, and easy-to-use, this test stand is built to last. Just select from Com-Ten's wide line of fixtures for standard tensile testing or install an optional compression cage for testing in compression.
Automation and reporting is achieved through the ComTouch® controller, included with the system. This touch screen driven unit controls the 95 series test stand for automated testing. This 95T system can also be combined with the optional C-TAP testing software for advanced test stand control, detailed graphing, and robust reporting.

Company History
Com-Ten Industries has been manufacturing low cost tensile and compression test systems since 1960 that are ideal for most material testing needs. The company was founded as Research Products Co., Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL. In 1970 new owners renamed the company Comten Industries and remodeled the entire product line. Since the arrival of today's owners in 1993, the company has more than doubled in size. The company is employee owned with more than 54% of eligible employees owning stock. In 1997 the principals of Com-Ten purchased a 22,000 sq. ft. building. In April of 1998 Com-Ten moved from 3,500 sq. ft. into 12,000 sq. ft. of newly remodeled space with the balance available for future expansion.
The trade name of Com-Ten Industries was established in 1997 as the company's internet name and address and is what it is known by today. Since 1993 Com-Ten has introduced it's low cost Digital Force Meter, a portable Motorized Fastener Tester, a Digital Fastener Tester, C-Tap Test Acquisition Package Software, the E-Z Test line of force gauges with test stands, and the 95 series Message Central Controller. In 2003 Com-Ten introduced a completely new line of Universal Testing Machines coupled to the all new ComTouch Control System. Com-Ten has also released the completely revised C-Tap 2.0 software.
