Sterisensor® assemblies are designed specifically to meet the rigorous environment found in pharmaceutical autoclaves. These devices feature a unique environmental seal that prevents moisture from reaching the sensor, thereby providing a higher reliability than previously obtainable with any sensor apparatus. Sterisensor uses PTFE-insulated stranded leadwire conductors with a thick-walled extruded silicone rubber jacket encased in a 316SST sheath. It operates in the temperature range of –50˚ C to +150˚ C (-58˚ F to +302˚ F) and pressure range from vacuum to 3.5 bar (50 psig). Thermocouple Type T or RTD, 100Ω @ 0˚ C, 0.00385 Ω/Ω/˚C calibrations are available, in a variety of sensor lengths and diameters configured to meet application requirements. Custom assemblies are also available.
