CONEC Corporation is introducing pressfit or PC tail configuration 5W5 combo D-SUB filter connectors. They are available in plug or socket. This connector series can be installed into multi layer PCB's using flat rock tooling, or for direct soldering with the PC tail version. Filter capacitance range is from 1.3nF up to 100nF. Dielectric withstanding voltage in the standard configuration is 707VDC, a high voltage version that can withstand 1020VDC is also offered. The power contacts are rated for 10A, they are copper alloy and gold plated on the mating side, several plating options are available. The connectors feature die cast nickel plated shells for added strength and optimum shielding. These connectors mate with standard unfiltered 5W5 combo D-SUB connectors. Typical applications include power supply input output connectors that require filtering. Delivery for the new connectors is 3 weeks.
