CONTEC is pleased to announce the addition of two new expansion chassis and two new expansion adapters to their extensive line of Bus Expansion Systems. These products provide additional PCI or PCI Express slots.

The first new chassis, ECH-PCI-CE-H2B, provides x2 additional PCI slots while the ECH-PE-CE-H2B provides x2 PCI Express slots. These chassis provide either ExpressCard to PCI / PCI Express expansion or PCI Express to PCI / PCI Express expansion.

CONTEC's ExpressCard, EAD-CE-EC, and PCI Express, EAD-CE-LPE, expansion adapters use the same interconnecting cable allowing them to access the same expansion chassis. In addition, the expansion chassis features a power-interlock function which allows the expansion chassis to power on/off with the host computer.

CONTEC's ECH-PCI-CE-H2B, ECH-PE-CE-H2B, EAD-CE-LPE and EAD-CE-EC are lead-free (exceeding JEITA Phase 2 requirements) and RoHS-compliant.
