CPI's SL720 Linear Position Sensor is the only sensor in the world which will provide absolute position feedback in telescoping hydraulic cylinders. The sensor mounts completely inside the cylinder, and works for any stroke length up to 72". And, unlike rod-type sensors, there is no lower limit to the cylinder bore size for this product (for non-welded end cap designs).

Another significant benefit to this technology is that the same sensor part number can be applied to any stroke length within the stroke range of the sensor e.g.—a customer purchasing the SL720, which has a max. range of 72" can use that same sensor for a 28" cylinder, 37", 41"—any cylinder with a stroke length of 72" or less.
