DEHNpatch Patch cable with Surge Protection

DEHNpatch is the first patch cable with surge protection in Cat. 6 performance that can be used universally acc. to EN 50173 up to 48 V.

The design of DEHNpatch as a patchcable is revolutionary. It allows not only to equip new installations very easily, but also any retrofittings at existing installations without great installation work.

DEHNpatch is simply plugged in between the patch panel and the active component (e.g. switch) instead of the conventional patchcable. The DINrail-mountable supporting foot provides safe earthing. For single application, a piece of DINrail with fixing device is included in delivery. Using the DEHNpatch mounting set would be advantageous for multiple application in 19" racks. This can be provided as accessory.

DEHNpatch fullfils the requirements of Cat. 6 and can be used universally for nominal voltages of up to 48 V. Both existing applications in offices and industry like Gigabit Ethernet, ATM or ISDN and future systems like Voice of IP and Power Over Ethernet can be protected.

Thanks to its fully shielded design, DEHNpatch can be used in shielded and unshielded networks. The width corresponds approximately to RJ45 socket outlet. Thus, up to 24 devices can be installed in one series and integrated in a 19' rack.

The total standard cable length of DEHNpatch is 3 m (other lengths can be provided on request).
