It was created as a means to showcase the advantages of integrating precision motion, vision and robotic control onto a single platform. It also demonstrates how DWFritz Automation can integrate off-the-shelf technology to design and build a complete automation solution for the Semiconductor Tool Manufacturing Industry (Process/ Inspection/Metrology/Packaging) in a very short time frame. The machine was conceived, designed and built in less than 100 days.
