Titled "Engineering Solutions for Flexible Hose Design" the new brochure gives general information on the materials DeWAL manufactures that fit well into the industrial and chemical hose industries. Our capabilities in manufacturing PTFE, UHMW, FEP and THV along with some new specialty laminate structures give us a broad spectrum of materials to help solve those demanding hose applications. PTFE, Modified PTFE and UHMW are widely used as inner core wrap materials in both smooth bore and convoluted hoses. UHMW is also used as an outer wrap for industrial hoses that need superior abrasion resistance. THV is used in many fuel type hoses because of its excellent barrier properties.
