Now available from DIAB is an ultra lightweight structural core material - Divinycell H35. With its nominal density of 2.4 lb/cub. ft. (38 kg/cu.m.), it is the world's lightest structural foam core.

Divinycell H35 is particularly suitable for moderately loaded structures, such as wind turbine nacelles, vehicles such as motor homes and caravans and various industrial components.

In common with other densities in the Divinycell H range, H35 offers good strength and modulus properties, low water absorption and is resistant to attack from styrene and other solvents. It also features a small cell size to minimize resin usage and can be processed at up to 194°F (90°C) with minimal dimensional changes.

Divinycell H35 sandwich core can be supplied with a wide range of finishes to facilitate installation, enhance component quality and to meet specific process requirements. These include grid-scored, double cut and 'infusion' grooved/perforated forms. In addition H35 can be supplied in 'ready to use' kits that can include the Kit-Lok option .

The addition of H35, further strengthens the position of Divinycell H grade as the structural core material that offers the widest range of densities 2.4, 3, 3.8, 5, 6.3, 8.1, 10, 12.5 and 15.6 lb/cub. ft. (38, 45, 60, 80, 100, 130, 160, 200 and 250 kg/cub. m.). As a result designers and specifiers are able to accurately match the density to the specification requirements of the application.
