Dixon worked in conjunction with one of the worlds largest medium and heavy duty transmission manufacturers to develop a Robotic - Fully Automatic Screw Thread Insert Driving Cell.

Content includes: 800mm "X" and 400mm "Y" axis Cartesian robot, Servo controlled driving head, Vibratory Feed System with de-tangler, orienting mechanism, and sound enclosure, Automatic Clamping Fixture, Control System complete with PC robot controller and PLC machine controls including an operator interface screen, Vision system utilized for exact locating of threaded holes and quality control, Perimeter Guard complete with light curtain, and electrically-interlocked doors.
