Dixon's Model AP-107 Automatic Rotary Drum Fed Part Placer, Inclined Track, a two stage Transfer Escapement and Column is ideally suited to place headed cylindrical piece parts up to 25mm long (Dixon also has an Auto Track-Fed Screwdriver)

Dixon's Product Group offers a number of standard and custom auto-fed part placers, including special pick & place part placing stations. Feed systems may vary with each part placer, due to the piece part size, weight, and geometry. Piece parts may be conveyed from the vibratory feed system to the placement head by hardened feed tracks, blow tube, or a magazine-type drop tube. All placement heads have sensing features that provide confirmation of proper placement of each piece part in the assembly process. Interlocking controls are selected to meet the requirements of each assembly application.
