Dontech, Inc. Enhanced Display Solutions (EDS) is a customizable display product family where the optical performance, operating thermal range, EMI/RFI emissions and susceptibility and mechanical durability of electronic displays (e.g., LCDs) are improved to allow the display to function properly in demanding environments. Typical markets include military, medical, electronic test equipment and industrial electronics.

Using a combination of Dontech manufactured optical components such optical filters with antireflective (AR) coatings, EMI/RFI conductive ground planes, transparent heaters, night vision compatible filters and heat reflectors and backlight enhancing films (e.g., micro-optics and diffusers) commercial off the shelf (COTS) displays are improved to meet the customer requirements.

Dontech EDS services are as simple as adding an antireflective film to the front surface of an LCD, or as complex as dismantling the LCD, optically coupling a transparent heater to the inside surface of the display, incorporating a hot mirror for night vision compatibility into the backlighting system and laminating a high performance optical filter for EMI/RFI shielding and sunlight readability to the front surface of the display. Dontech optical adhesives include acrylics, polyesters, epoxies, silicones, and urethanes.
