For converters working with older, used and slightly abused Tension Roll transducers installed on their web machinery DFE offers an alternative to the full-price replacement of such rolls with a 'like new' refinishing and refurbishing service. DFE can typically turn a refinishing\refurbishing job around in one to two days. This translates into minimal down time for a customer's process line.

The cost of refurbishing an existing Tension Roll transducer is typically about 50% of the cost of a new unit; and a Tension Roll transducer accepted for refurbishment will look and perform like a new unit upon completion. Dover Flexo will supply an advance price estimate for customers who contact the company with a description of their roll.
