For those measurement applications with a high load (heavy tension) on the substrate and idler rolls in the web path, the UPBH or SUPB are the tension sensing tools to use. These transducers are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminum and are built to last. The design eliminates the use of a hinge making it more reliable and stronger than other Under Pillow Block transducers on the market.

UPBH transducers are used when the force direction is running predominantly parallel to the transducer's top plate.

SUPB transducers are used when force direction is running mostly perpendicular to the transducer's top plate.
