Dudek & Bock recently transitioned their Michigan stamping and welded ring operations into their Chicago plant. Part of the unique expertise we gained from this consolidation was in the area of lap welding technology - particularly as it pertains to welded rings.

Welded rings are often used as alternatives to butt welded or more expensive seamless tubing-based rings. Coupled with sophisticated forming machinery, Dudek & Bock is able to manufacture these welded rings in round, oval and rectangular shapes in a highly efficient, "1-shot" continuous operation for high production runs at a low cost. Current applications for these include exhaust system isolator rings and swage clamp rings to cover rubber boots on drive-shafts.
