Dura-Belt's Acid Resistant Belts are probably the only elastic belts that work well in acid environments. These round belts are composed of an external PVC jacket and an internal metal spring. The metal spring provides the elasticity, while the flexible jacket is actually under compression, so it does not have to be elastic.
Dura-Belt's acid resistant belts (also called Jacketed Spring Belts*) are available only as endless belts because the ends of the jacket must be joined.
