Dynex VH Series pressure controls are ideal for use in high-pressure and high-shock systems. These pilot-operated poppet style valves provide fast response to circuit conditions. Relief valves regulate pressure and provide circuit protection at pressures to 15,000 psi.

Models are also available to provide unloading or decompression functions. Unloading valves operate at pressures to 15,000 psi to divert pump output to tank in response to a pilot pressure signal. Decompression valves reduce flow surges in high-pressure systems. Excess flow is metered to tank, in response to an electrical or pressure signal to the valve control.

  • Applications requiring the use of low-viscosity, low-lubricity fluids

Valve Specifications

VH Series relief and unloading valves are rated for 15 U.S. gpm nominal, with maximum flow to 30 U.S. gpm. Decompression valves are rated for 25 U.S. gpm nominal, with maximum flow to 30 U.S. gpm.

These valves can be used with water-based, fire-resistant and other non-mineral oil fluids. These include water glycol, Skydrol and other phosphate ester fluids, Viscor and other calibration fluids, and various MIL-SPEC fluids.

Standard fluorocarbon (Viton or Flourel) seals provide greater fluid compatibility and improved high-temperature performance. Options include Buna-N (nitrile) or EPR for use with some phosphate ester fluids.
