RA Right Angle Hydraulic Power Units

Dynex RA Series power units provide a solution for applications requiring weather-tight integrity with minimum external piping. These units are custom fabricated to meet specific requirements, with flows to 200 gpm and pressures to 15,000 psi, for use with a wide-range of fluids. Select prime movers to 200 HP and reservoirs to 1,000 gallons.
The right-angle configuration is available with a single- or double-pump mounting base. The flooded suction design ensures good inlet conditions for long pump life, as well as reduced heat generation and noise.
The accessible hinged cover facilitates easy reservoir cleaning. Select from a choice of pumps, valves, electric motors, filters, controls and accessories.
Standard features include:
- Standard NFPA (CETOP) directional valves
- Optional high-pressure HP Series valves rated to 10,000 psi.
- Pressure control valves for operation to 15,000 psi.
- Two full baffles on larger reservoirs
- Magnetic drain plug
- Level gage with thermometer
- Enamel or epoxy exterior finish
Meeting Customers’ Special Requirements
Dynex power units can incorporate customer-specified and supplied components. Components are also available from our warehouse or are readily available through the Dynex distributor network.
These specialized systems are built with a choice of hydraulic pumps as required for the service duty. Many applications use Dynex checkball piston pumps, which operate at pressures to 15,000 psi. They provide long-life in the most difficult conditions, including contamination, dirty environments, extreme temperatures and long, difficult duty cycles.
Checkball pumps operate efficiently with standard mineral oil, or with low-lubricity, low-viscosity fluids, for water-based, fire-resistant and other special-fluid applications. These include a wide range of water glycol, Skydrol and other phosphate ester fluids, Viscor and other diesel calibration fluids, machining coolant, brake fluid and various military fluids.
