EMKA's long life bulb type gasketing can seal telecommunications, electrical and HVAC enclosures to GR 487 and NEMA 4 standards with low closure forces. This gasket is quick and easy to install. EPDM is almost impervious to ambient temperatures, rain, UV and ozone; oil resistant (nitrile) versions are available. No special care is needed during installation. Several profiles have been successfully tested in 70 mph wind driven rain.

EMKA also makes EMI shielding gasket, and gasket for mounting windows in metal panels.

When used with EMKA locks, latches and hinges this gasket is capable of sealing to NEMA 4, GR 487 and IP 65. The gasket is extremely compliant and so allows wide tolerances with minimal loads on latches, and hinges. The standard range is made from EPDM rubber which has outstanding resistance to weathering. Oil resistant Nitrile is also available in many profiles.
