Installation of hinges on metal enclosures often costs more than the parts themselves. EMKA has just introduced several low cost installation options. In addition to very low cost assembly many have locating bosses, to insure load sharing. Several offer easy and tool-less door removal and 180º door opening.

A wide variety of "Quick-fix," commercial and industrial hinges are now available speeding production and lowering costs. The selection of a particular hinge largely depends on the secondary functions, such as the easy door removal, or wide opening of a hinge as well as the total installed cost. Emka has many options in several different materials so that the optimum hinge in all respects can be used.

Corrosion resistant materials like stainless steel, glass reinforced nylon, or coated zinc alloy may be suitable options depending on the application.
