The EDS-405A and EDS-408A both feature plug and play network redundancy via Moxa's Turbo Ring, which can recover from network failure in under 20 ms. Advanced managed functions include Quality of Service (QoS) for traffic prioritization and consistent data transmission, and IGMP snooping to reduce traffic on the Ethernet LAN and VLAN. Additional features that system integrators will find useful include automatic warning of user-specified events via email or relay output, and user-friendly web-based configuration and management.
