ELAN-Tron® resins are room-temperature curing epoxy battery sealant systems that provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates used in battery construction, including polypropylene, polycarbonate, ABS, SAN, and hard rubber.
ELAN-Tron® resins are moisture and chemical resistant, including sulfuric acid resistance at 150°F. They can be tailored for specific applications in battery construction including rigid adhesion for secure 'plate-lock' of elements to bottom of battery case, adhesion of lid to case based on specific substrates, and balance of flexibility and hardness for sealing terminal posts.
