This rectangular setting block from Elasto Proxy is most commonly used as a spacer between two surfaces, such as to stop metal-to-metal contact or as a weather stripping. It is typically not recommended for dynamic applications where there is a great deal of cycle pressure (repeated opening and closing action) as the material will take a permanent set which can lead to leakage. Our general purpose closed cell foam adhesive back stripping comes in a medium density neoprene blend and offers good oil and aging resistance properties. it is also available in silicone for those who require low compression force and excellent recovery in both high and low temperature ranges. Other stripping sizes and compounds can be supplied upon request.
