EADmotors' new hysteresis AC synchronous motor operates at speeds over four times as fast compared to similar motor types. The motor achieves these high speeds with low speed variation, a much-desired trait in high performance medical and optical applications.

The size 44 (4.38-in. OD) three-phase, single speed motor operates at 15,000 continuous rpm while maintaining a smooth, quiet and efficient constant speed drive. Torque rating is 13.5 oz-in. with continuous output of 1/5 HP. Voltage rating is 100 VAC with 500 Hz input.

This motor operates with an ambient temperature range of -20ºC to +85º C, open construction with an internal cooling fan and class B insulation system. Reliability, high performance and long service life are ensured through quality construction features such as a dynamically balanced rotor, die cast aluminum end bells, permanently lubricated ball bearings and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
