(Dover, NH) Need a linear actuator with less cogging for your OEM application? EADmotors is introducing a newly designed motor that combines the proven Duraplus linear actuator - stepping motor with the smoothness and speed of a Brushless DC motor. This Brushless DC motor is capable of speeds over 10 in/sec with very high acceleration rates. Custom lead screw options are available, typically in1/4" to 3/8" diameter sizes, in various materials and efficiencies to suit individual application needs. This design uses the same long life polymer nuts as the Duraplus stepping motor line and can also be customized to support a ball screw option. Currently this design is available in a NEMA 23 package, however NEMA 17 and 34 sizes may be available upon request. Standard motor windings range from 12VDC to 160VDC and can be customized to meet individual performance specifications.
