Path Way® Remotely Controllable Network Switch Model 7278 Single Channel RJ45, Cat 5e, A/B/C/D Switch, with Serial Remote Control The PathWay® Model 7278 RJ45, Cat5e, ABCD Switch with Serial Remote Control allows the user the capability of accessing four separate devices, ports A, B, C, and D via connection through a device connected to the Common port. This 4-Position Switch may be controlled locally using the front panel pushbutton or remotely from a DB9/F port located on the rear of the unit using Serial ASCII Commands. Switch position states may be attained locally via the front panel LED display or remotely using Serial Commands. Features:
- Shares one COMMON RJ45 port among four RJ45 ports, A, B, C, D.
- Cat 5e compliant.
- Switching performed from front panel pushbutton or via remote control.
- Remote control from RS232 ASCII commands that allow the user the ability to change the switch position, query position, and lockout front panel controls.
- LED's on front panel indicate switch position and power status.
- The switched RJ45 ports are transparent to all data.
- All eight signals of the RJ45 interface are switched.
- Unit maintains position and signal pathway during power loss.
