Advance your operations:
-Work remotely – monitor over the internet from anywhere in the world
-Work smarter – efficient and timely condition-based maintenance
-Ensure immediate action – real-time decision making from your desk
-Save space and money – eliminate long cable runs to each sensor
-Do more with your resources – reduced installation & maintenance costs
Electrochem's wireless sensor networks provide an advanced level of real-time measurement and control in operations such as process control, acceptance testing and more. Systems comprised of multiple wireless sensors will stream measurement data to a local gateway, such as the Electrochem BS1-NG. The readings are processed against programmed rules and violations of any rule can trigger immediate notifications to personnel, or shut equipment down immediately.
The Modbus RTU and OPC Server 2.0 interfaces give access to process data across larger systems. Visibility across the entire operation means reduced downtime. Condition-based monitoring enables pro-active maintenance and leads to lower operating cost.
Visualization features of Electrochem's wireless sensor systems' software offer a completely integrated operating and monitoring solution. Visualization elements are based on IEC 61131-3 applications and can graphically represent important areas that are being monitored.
The solutions are nearly endless with the use of a mesh network incorporating our wireless sensors. Utilizing the Electrochem BS1-NG, your wireless network can include up to 64,000 sensors. Individual sensors can communicate signals up to .9 miles or 1.5 kilometers, and with a mesh network, the options are infinite.
Electrochem pressure, temperature and flow sensors utilize the ZigBee protocol, specifically designed for low-rate, low-power applications. Power savings is achieved by way of careful energy management throughout the measurement process. Wireless sensors spend most of their time asleep, waking up only when they need to measure and communicate, and then going immediately back to sleep. Additionally, ZigBee technology extends transmission range and reliability using multi-hop mesh networking. If a sensor or base station is unable to communicate as indented, transmission is dynamically re-routed using an alternate path to the destination
