Applied Motion Products introduces their compact 3540MO microstep motor driver with onboard oscillator & joystick interface. Motor speed is set by on-board potentiometers, any external 0-5V analog signal or joystick. This cost-effective compact unit is designed to provide MOSFET-level performance for industrial stepper applications. Designed to work with NEMA 14 to NEMA 34 4, 6 or 8 lead step motors, the 3540MO delivers a maximum 3.5 Amps @ 12 - 42 VDC in a compact 1.5" x 3.0" x 4.0" envelope.
Key features of the 3540MO microstep driver include:
- Delivery stock to 2 weeks
- Accepts 0-5V analog input from joystick, potentiometer or external speed signal
- Opto-isolated 5 --24VDC inputs
- Optically isolated enable input
- Integral heat sink for cool operation
- Compatible with most 4, 6 or 8 lead hybrid Stepper motors
- 0.4 -- 3.5A selectable current output
- Self test feature
- Selectable idle current reduction to 50% or 100%
- Switch selectable step resolutions to 12800 steps/rev
