145 MD Push button with Reed contacts
Product Announcement from elobau sensor technology, Inc.
Elobau is currently introducing the new 145 MD dual button, which is based - like its predecessor - on reed technology and is characterized by its very long service life of up to 109 switching cycles. The PBT housing is mounted using a simple "push and lock" function, which means the button is simply pushed into the dedicated 37.1 mm x 21.1 mm recess, latches in and is sealed with an NBR seal. The button covers are available in different colors depending on their use, as are the custom, hot-stamped symbols.
The 145 MD is also suitable for outdoor use. It can withstand temperatures of -35 °C to +70 °C and guarantees electrical protection to IP 67. With 48 V switching voltage, 0.5 A switching current and 10 W/VA switching power, its performance is highly respectable given its small size of 39 mm x 45.5 mm x 26.7 mm. Protruding struts in the specially designed housing prevent inadvertent switching of the button, with its 3 mm key drop. The button is connected using a 3-pin AMP Superseal plug. Optionally, a mating can be supplied with a cable output.
