Designed not only to split the broadband signal, but also to protect it from electrical disturbances, these splitters are constructed with surge suppression circuitry which prevents damage to cable set top boxes, televisions, and other attached multimedia devices. Digital Plus is a family of digital ready passive devices with a 5-1000MHz Pass Band which offers excellent insertion loss, return loss and port-to-port isolation, as well as improved performance in the return band. Our Viewsonics family of Digital Plus Horizontal Drop Splitters combine excellent electrical performance with enhanced environmental resistance. The zinc die cast housing is tin plated, and the back plates are solder sealed for maximum corrosion resistance. All ports are precision machined with 360° style 'F' port contacts which meet the requirements of SCTE SP-400.
