The high efficiency Liebert® HPC-S™ Freecooling Chiller enables small to medium sized data centers to operate with maximized availability and efficiency, by creating an end-to-end chilled water system that can help lower the facility’s PUE. It is designed to supply chilled water to indoor data center thermal management equipment, providing reliable year-round capacity, regardless of the environmental working conditions. The unit is equipped with energy efficient technologies – Freecooling economizer coil, EC condenser fans, Copeland® scroll compressors and Liebert iCOM™ control system.
The Liebert HPC-S Chiller with R410A refrigerant is available in capacities from 192kW (55 tons), 285kW (81 tons) and 362kW (103 tons). The total combined effect of the Liebert HPC-S unit’s leading technologies delivers up to 40% annual energy savings over standard systems.
•Operates year-round, 24x7, regardless of the environmental working conditions.
•Liebert® iCOM™ control system adapts quickly to changing environmental conditions and instantaneously moves to freecooling mode when conditions are appropriate.
•Multiple types of Liebert Indoor Thermal Management units can be used with Liebert HPC-S Freecooling Chillers for design flexibility.
•Over-sized components enable higher chilled fluid temperatures than standard systems, maximizing time available for economizing operation.
