Epoxies, Etc... developed an easy to use Epoxy Potting Compound. Many commercially available potting compounds have wide mix ratios that make measuring difficult. These same materials contain fillers that settle and cause the material to have a high viscosity. The 20-3001NC solves many of the common processing problems that electronic manufacturers experience with potting compounds.
Typical Potting Compound
- Thick and does not flow easily
- Wide mix ratio, i.e 100:5 by weight
- Fillers settle to bottom of containers
- Cured surface has air bubbles
- Only packaged in difficult to use bulky containers
- Due to fillers and mix ratio difficult to use in Meter Mix Machines
20-3001 NC
- Low viscosity, 1,000 cps
- 1:1 by volume ratio
- No fillers
- Smooth glass like finish
- Available in TriggerBond cartridges and bulk packaging
- Simple and less expensive Meter Mix Machines may be used
