See Product Details

Fall protection systems are used to protect workers from injury due to falls. Fall arrest track systems by SPANCO have a lightweight ergonomic design. Our fall arrest track produces a low co-efficient of friction that allows easy movement of trolleys and cranes, which reduces stress and fatigue on operators. SPANCO fall protection track systems are available with either plain or trussed track and with single or dual track (two track/two man) design.

Features

Fall arrest track is available with two sizes of steel and two sizes of aluminum track in our standard fall arrest track systems. SPANCO fall arrest track equipment is designed for indoor or outdoor use. The low profile design on our fall protection system saves up to 3 feet of headroom versus wire systems and the unique truss track fall arrest design enables greater distance between supported points with minimum loss of headroom.

All fall protection trolley wheels are equipped with sealed bearings. The swivel eye trolley on the fall arrest system allows more freedom of movement for the operator and prevents lanyard twisting.

Fall arrest track systems are available in one or two man systems. Single track systems or bridge crane configurations allow for greater range of movement on the SPANCO fall arrest track. Two man/two track fall protection systems allow workers to pass by each other for greater versatility.

Customization

SPANCO dual track fall protection systems can be utilized in either plain or trussed track configurations to allow two workers to pass by each other without detachment or interference. This is an ideal option for applications that require multiple operators on one fall arrest system.

For some special applications, a specially designed SPANCO jib or gantry crane may be the ideal fall arrest anchorage for your fall protections system. Contact SPANCO to select the correct crane for your requirements.

Design / Service Factor

SPANCO designs and tests their fall arrest systems and components to ANSI Z359.1 and OSHA 1926.

Protective Packaging

SPANCO personal fall protection systems are 100% packaged for the best possible paint finish protection during shipment. All runways and bridges are separated and covered with a layer of microfoam. Heavy-duty corner boards are applied and then each bundle is passed through a stretch-wrapping machine. The bundles are then steel banded with wooden skids nailed through the bands for easy forklift handling.

All SPANCO fall arrest track components are packed securely in heavy-duty cardboard cartons and skidded as needed.

Spray paint for touch-up for fall arrest track systems is provided in appropriate quantity, although it is seldom needed because of the high level of packaging protection.

Affiliation

SPANCO is a proud member of the International Society for Fall Protection (ISFP).

The International Society for Fall Protection (ISFP), founded in 1988, is a member supported, nonprofit international organization whose goal is to reduce deaths and injuries from falls both on and off the job.

To achieve this goal, the ISFP promotes fall protection education, training, and research, supports development and promotion of international standards, and provides a forum for communication and idea exchange among members and other interested parties.
