The LIPS P111 is a ruggedised version of the P101 sensor with 12.7 mm target rod for increased strength. It is recommended for high vibration environments and for the longer strokes when used horizontally supported between rod eye bearings. The sensor uses Positek's PIPS technology, with simple inductive coils and advanced ASIC electronic technology. It provides a DC analogue output signal and is easy to install without needing a separate interface card.

The sensor provides a linear output characteristic with displacement and has several advantages over an LVDT or potentiometer. It is short, accurate, very robust and simple to use.
A range of electrical I/O options are available including 4-20mA current outputs. Overall performance is outstanding over a wide temperature range and the output has very good frequency response. Full EMC protection is built in.
The sensors have a rugged stainless steel body and target rod. The rod can be supplied as a free assembly, with a optional rod end bearing. The body may be supported by a rod end or by a clamp. The sensors are sealed to IP65 or IP67. Special sensor designs can be produced to suit customer specifications.
Everight Sensors serves automated equipment and component OEMs and large end users requiring specifically designed LVDT, RVDT, LVIT, RVIT, and SEF based sensor devices to provide linear and angular position information to data acquisition and control systems. Product solutions can integrate all three essential aspects of the application requirement: basic sensor technology and support electronics, mechanical packaging, and system interface. Mechanical packaging considerations include physical interface with actuated components as well as environmental and operating conditions including immersion, pressure, temperature, shock and vibration, and impact. System interface solutions encompass digital interfaces such as Ethernet, Canbus, Devicenet, etc. plus wireless and TEDS "plug and play" technology.
Allow us to understand your application and tailor a linear or angular position sensor solution that fits seamlessly into your control or data acquisition system.
