Melles Griot introduces a new robust, temperature-insensitive shutter design, providing excellent performance at temperatures from -40° C to +70° C. Blade coatings are highly emissive in the infrared spectral region making this shutter ideal for calibration of uncooled sensors in FLIR systems.

The ExtremeService™ shutters provide the reliability and control needed for night-vision and infrared-illumination systems including a wide range of analytical, metrology, and photonics instrumentation. These shutters are available with 25.2mm clear aperture and 3V or 12V solenoids.
