Fairfield Crystal Technology's optical crystals are produced to a consistent high quality. Their CaF2 crystals are grown from high-purity source material using a modified Bridgman crystal growth technique. Through Fairfield's proprietary crystal growth technique they are able to produce CaF2 crystals for critical 193nm and 248nm optical applications, such as microlithography beam delivery systems and other excimer wavelength applications. Their CaF2 is not limited to UV applications, it can be used for visible and IR applications where demanding optical performance is required.
Standard sizes range from 5.0mm to 190mm diameter however, larger sizes are available upon request. They offer CaF2 blanks and components in a variety of crystal orientations, <111>, <100>, random or other orientations upon request.
