Festo Corporation, a global leader in automation solutions, is pleased to announce the introduction of our new electro-mechanical mini slide SLTE designed for applications requiring either slow, constant velocity motion or fast, short, dynamic motion sequences. The fully positionable SLTE is designed for handling and positioning applications requiring repeatability of +/- 0.05 mm for strokes between 50 and 150 mm.

The SLTE features a quiet lead screw drive with an integrated motor and encoder. This miniature slide accommodates maximum working loads of 8.8 lbs. for horizontal operation or 4.4 lbs for vertical operation, with fast positioning times of up to 125 mm/second.

Easy to Configure:

• Software provided for selecting drives and configuring a complete handling system

• Software provided for calculating speed and cycle times

• Teach-in positioning records for easy parameterization of contours

• The Festo SFC Controller connects to the SLTE via a single pre-assembled cable

• With an IP54 rating, the SFC controller can be mounted in the same environment as the SLTE slide

Easy to Install:

• Flexible mounting with through-holes from above or below

• Back-wall or H-rail mounting possible

• All cables are suitable for chain link trunking
