This ventilation device can be used with all Fibox and other manufacturers' enclosures, both metallic and non metallic. Fibox also offers a compatible fan holder accessory, used with a standard fan, to eliminate heat in applications where forced air transfer is required. The ventilation device and combined fan/fan holder offer the user an efficient assembly for applications where electronic equipment must be cooled. These ventilation devices are used in pairs, on opposing exterior sides, to permit passive cross flow ventilation. The ventilation device is made of UL 94 V-0 polycarbonate plastic. This device, suitable for outdoor use, can be subjected to UV light and water exposure. Protection is rated at IP 44. Dimensions are approximately 50 mm x 70 mm x 20 mm high (2" x 2.75" x 0.8" high). The ventilation device package includes all necessary screws, drilling templates, and mounting instructions.

The fan holder accessory, placed inside the enclosure and mounted opposite the ventilation device, is compatible with a standard 40 mm x 40 mm (1.6" x 1.6") fan with maximum height of 15 mm (0.6"). This fan holder is made of the same polycarbonate material as the ventilation device and has the same specifications.
