Ice Qube Filtered Fan Systems have been designed for cooling of electronic equipment housed within enclosures located in ambient conditions which are not extremely harsh, humidity is not a concern and the electronics can operate at temperatures slightly above ambient temperatures.
Cool ambient air is induced into the enclosure by a permanently lubricated, ball bearing axial fan through an electrostatically charged, polypropylene filter, which traps air borne particles as small as ten microns. This air creates a positive pressure within the enclosure, which prevents particulate from entering into the enclosure through the exhaust grille, deteriorated door seals or wireways. As this air flows through the enclosure it absorbs the heat produced by the electronic equipment and carries this heat out of the enclosure through the exhaust grille
